Where I’ve Been…

I got the travel bug when I was fairly young.  When I was in middle school, my sister was a missionary in both Mexico City and South America and I was able to go and visit her in both countries.  Though I do not remember as much as I’d like, I do vividly recall the excitement of walking through the sinking city of Mexico DF and the eagerness to brag that I had eaten fish eyeballs and then peed in the Caribbean while in Colombia!  Now, 25 years later, I still love the excitement of walking through new cities (sinking or not!) and the bliss of swimming in the Caribbean (though I’d never admit, let alone brag, to peeing in it these days!) and I am always eager and excited for my next trip!  Since having a couple of little munchkins, travel is not as accessible as it used to be, but I am still always ready to do some research and make some plans!  And when there is nothing to plan, I can happily recollect the trips I have already taken…
